10m rifle

An Olympic discipline for seniors and women. Firearm: standard air rifle, 4.5 calibre. Shots are fired standing at a target 10 metres away: 60 shots within 105 minutes for seniors; 40 shots within 75 minutes for women.

50m rifle, 3x40

An Olympic discipline for seniors. Firearm: any small-bore rifle (.22). Participants fire 40 shots each prone, standing and kneeling at a target 50 metres away, within 45 minutes (prone), 75 minutes (standing), and 60 minutes (kneeling).

50m, 3x20

An Olympic discipline for women. Firearm: any small-bore rifle (.22). Participants fire 20 shots each in the prone, standing and kneeling positions at a target 50 metres away, within a time limit not more than 135 minutes.

English match – rifle 60 shots prone

An Olympic discipline for seniors. Firearm: any small-bore rifle (.22). Sixty shots are fired from the prone position at a target 50 metres away, within 75 minutes.

300m rifle

This discipline is governed by the International Shooting Sport Federation and was an Olympic discipline until the 1976 Games. Somewhat forgotten until the 90s it has been brought back by France at the European level through the institution of a European Shooting Cup.

60-shot rifle prone

An international discipline for seniors, a national one for women and juniors. 60 shots are fired from the prone position in 105 minutes, except if electronic targets are used, in which case the time is 90 minutes. Firearm: any full-bore rifle.

Rifle 3x40

An international discipline for seniors. Firearm: any full-bore rifle. 120 shots are fired in all three positions, as follows:
• 40 shots from the prone position in 75 minutes (60 min. if electronic targets)
• 40 shots from the standing position in 105 minutes (90 min. if electronic targets)
• 40 shots from the kneeling position in 90 minutes (75 min if electronic targets)

Rifle 3 x 20

An international discipline for seniors. 60 shots are fired with a standard full-bore rifle in 2 hours and 30 minutes in all three positions as follows:
• 20 shots from the prone position
• 20 shots from the standing position
• 20 shots from the kneeling position
