Rifle and

The only authorized caliber hand guns are those equal or inferior to caliber .454 Casull, and all caliber of rifle equal or inferior to caliber .375 H & H Magnum.

The only shooting positions permitted are standing or on a shooting bench.

A picture I D card is obligatory for all members wishing to shoot hand guns or rifles.
Clay pigeon shooting :

The only guns permitted for clay-pigeon shooting are the following: over and under, side by side, pump and semi-automatic. At no time must pump or semi-automatic guns contain more than two (2) cartridges. Slings are strictly prohibited. The calibers permitted are: 10, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28 and 410. The only leads permitted are: 71/2, 8 and 9.

At all times it is strictly prohibited to load your gun before being in the shooting position and to put more than one (1) cartridge at a time in your shot-gun. Shooting at another shooter’s missed target is also strictly prohibited. Never point your gun at something that you do not intend to shoot at. For example: ceiling, walls, clouds in the sky or birds...
General :
- For security reasons, any child under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a non-shooting adult, whether it be in the clubhouse or on the grounds of the Club de Tir L’Acadie and Montreal Anglers & Hunters Inc. . In consequence, we will act harshly with anyone who does not conform to this regulation.
- The wearing of protective eyewear as well as protective earwear is mandatory on all shooting ranges.

All members must wear their badge in full view at all times.
